Lily Collins

Former Project Lead & Data Collector

 Clearwater Marine Aquarium Project & Tiger King Impact and Media Perception Project 

Lily graduated with a major in Animal Studies and minors in Biology and Psychology.

Throughout her time in the FAB Lab, Lily has worked on The Big Cat Cognition Project, The Tiger King Impact and Media Perception Project, Clearwater Marine Aquarium data collection and coding, as well as her Ford Scholar research on the importance of rubbing behaviors in rough-toothed dolphins at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Lily has accepted a position at The Downtown Houston Aquarium as a Trainer in the Mammals and Bird department. She hopes to go to graduate school in the future to get her masters and continue animal behavior research.


Dylan Davidoff

Dylan graduated with a double major in Animal Studies and Marine Science.

Throughout her time in the FAB Lab, Dylan created two original research projects investigating horseshoe crab behavior and learning. She also assisted on the Clearwater Marine Aquarium Projects and became lead of the acoustics project, while creating online content as social media coordinator for the Fab Lab and the Animal Studies Research Collaborative. Dylan is so grateful for the opportunities she had while in the lab and all the people she got to meet and collaborate with. She plans to pursue graduate school to study the behavior and cognition of non-charismatic megafauna and understudied species. Afterward, she hopes to develop a career in academia.

Kayla is passionate about and has experience with animal behavior research & training. She plans to become an environmental and animal advocacy attorney to help establish an intersection between animals and legislation.  


Madeline Ketner

Madeline graduated with a double major in Animal Studies and Psychology with a minor in Spanish.

Madeline is continuing her education at the University of Edinburgh as a master's student in the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies. She will receive her masters in Applied Animal Behavior and Welfare in September 2024. Afterward, she hopes to receive her Ph.D. and develop a career in academia.
